Welcome to Ashton primary school
At our school, we are proud to be a community that is passionate about ensuring our children receive a wonderful education which nurtures them academically, socially and emotionally. This is at the heart of everything we do—from the way we teach and learn, to the relationships we build and the experiences we share.
Our ‘Proud to be Prestonian’ initiative means that all our classes are named after famous Prestonians, promoting a pride in where we live. Our creative curriculum reflects this and is designed to inspire curiosity, encourage self-expression, and nurture a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Outdoor learning plays a vital role in our approach and we are fortunate enough to have extensive outdoor spaces where our children can bring their learning alive with lots of hands-on experiences. We strive to make every moment count!
We are proud of all our fantastic children and our dedicated staff and governors work closely with families to ensure that each child feels valued, supported and inspired to reach their full potential.
